Kevin Finley

Apex 2022

In His own words:

I am just a working man. I am like if “Joe Six-pack” wanted
to go out, be a tournament fisherman and did it. That’s me. I’ve been a construction worker my whole life and worked my fingers to the bone. I am the classic, blue-collar working guy and ready to fish. I can’t wait to get started with the new format of APEX. A different format is different fishing, and I am looking forward to seeing who rises to the top of this.

Hometown:

Phoenix, AZ

Highlights:

Numerous local wins, including a boat, FLW Tour qualifier, top-10 Lake Mead WON BASS U.S. Open and Clear Lake WON BASS California Open

Behind the angler:

Kevin started fishing competitively in 1986 when he was 16-years-old. He took a 15-year hiatus from the sport in 2000 to 2015 and then returned.

In the boat:

Kevin’s favorite technique is flipping; however, at his local fisheries
there are limited opportunities to do so. His tackle storage is filled with vibrating jigs and A-rigs from DJ Custom Jigs and Boyd Duckett squarebills.
