Jared Lintner

Apex 2021

In His own words:

I am a good guy in spite of my mustache. I’m just a regular guy that likes to catch bass, BBQ, hang out and have fun. As a west coast angler, I know that we haven’t had anything like APEX. In the past, we’ve had the Bassmaster Opens and the FLW Tour/Major League Big5. I want to be involved because APEX is planning to bring the exposure to the west coast anglers and raise the level of competition.

Hometown:

Arroyo Grande, CA

Highlights:

Over $1.3 million in career winnings with two career wins and 22 top-10’s, current Major League Fishing Bass Pro Tour pro angler, 2-time REDCREST qualifier, 7-time Bassmaster Classic qualifier

Behind the angler:

Growing up, Jared’s parents and extended family owned a fishing resort in Minnesota. That is where his love of fishing was born. He moved to California permanently when he was 11. He continued fishing at local lakes. In high school, he became intrigued by the bass boats he saw always going by and learned about tournament fishing from a guy at a gas station. He entered his first competitive fishing event at the age of 18.

In the boat:

Jared’s personal favorite lure is a Jackall TN 70 lipless crankbait;
however, his boat is full of a variety of Jackall hard baits, including Jackall Blings, Jackall MC60’s, as well as Jackall Kaera Frogs, Lazer Trokar Hooks and Eco Pro Tungsten Weights. His gear includes Daiwa rods and Daiwa reels, spooled with Sunline.
