Resigning from his corporate level career to dive headfirst into fishing and start his own fishing rod company – Alpha Angler – to be able to travel and fish competitively.

Behind the Angler

Jake found fishing as an adult – not for the fishing; but for the competition. He fished his first tournament 12 or 15 years ago and has never looked back.

In the Boat

In the Boat:
Jake always carries a beaded keychain made by his daughters. His Alpha Angler rods are always in the rod locker.
